Are you curious or passionate about growing vegetables and flowers and just really want a little patch of soil to tend?
Are you craving to be a more integrated member of the True Nature Community in Carbondale?
ADOPT A GARDEN BED!
We have three incredible raised beds in the Peace Garden at True Nature in Carbondale, CO that are designed for annual plantings, and we are so excited to open these up to the community! This is an incredible opportunity to build community relationships, strengthen connections with plants and all the life, tap into a deep sense of inspiration and wonder, and hopefully discover something about yourself in the process.
The soil in these convenient raised beds has been lovingly tended using only organic and biodynamic methods since installation about 4 years ago. We have amended with compost several times over, and the bottom most layers are modeled after a permaculture principle called "huglekulture" to increase soil microbe and micrrohizal growth. These beds are on an irrigation system, and you will have access to additional hand watering if needed.
We are looking for 3 passionate, dedicated individuals, groups or organizations to participate in this community gardening opportunity.
