My Daily Ceremony.

by Deva Shantay

Ceremony can open the door to deeper parts of ourselves. It can awaken us to aspects of who we are that we may not have been aware of before.

Ceremony is an offering—invited in with intention. It can be initiated through prayer, a devotional offering, and a closing that honors the space we have created.

Beginning each day with a sacred moment of ceremony anchors me. I take a breath, give myself permission to pause, sip my beverage, connect within, and recognize the energy that is present in the moment.

This ritual is something I cherish and look forward to every day.

What ceremonies could you bring into your own life?

Maybe it’s as simple as lighting a candle, offering a prayer, or creating a small devotional moment. Perhaps these simple acts can invite something new in, allow something to be released, anchor your day, and help you move through life more freely and with less inhibition.

Sometimes, ceremony doesn’t have to be elaborate. It simply asks us to pause, become present, and honor the moment we are in.
